who we are | what we do | reports | home

our purpose is to accelerate the commercialization of
clean energy technologies on the Pacific Coast of North America...

We are an inclusive, non-governmental institution focused on:

1 - Commercial scale demonstrations

2 - Harmonization of Regulation and Incentives

The Pacific Green Energy Initiative (PGEI) is program of the Cascadia Education Society: a not-for-profit society based in Vancouver, British Columbia.

PGEI was formed in 2007 with support from Baron Group, the Globe Foundation of Canada, the National Research Council IRAP and Institute for Fuel Cell Innovation, and the BC Ministry of Energy.

The PGEI gratefully acknowledges the support and professional expertise of the Baron Group which have turned our projects from concepts into real business led ventures.

We also wish to acknowledge the support the BC Innovation Council and the leadership of Day 4 Energy for the BC energy systems working group that envisions a Pacific Coast common market in renewable energy
